Basic Sewing 103 (Part 1 & 2)
Sewing 103 is delivered in two (2) parts:
Class Description: You are almost a PRO! ๐ Letโs cover a few more interesting techniques and complete our goals!
In this class, you will learn the following:
Part 1 โ
Create buttonholes, machine stitch a button; direction of standard buttonholes, opening buttonholes
Sew on buttons using the machine button features, aligning buttons to buttonholes, cross stitch and standard button applications
Part 2 โ Sew 1 of 3 projects available -
Hard Project - Sew a Cosmetic Pouch/Bag with lining, buttonhole & button closure; pattern layout, cut and sew/assemble Bag/Pouch
Easy Project - Sew a Tablet Cover with lining, buttonhole & button closure
Date & Time: See options; Duration will be a total of Four (4) hours; classes are broken down to 2-hour Classes (includes a small break); two consecutive classes scheduled at your own pace & calendar.

Prerequisite: N/A
Specific Material List:
Sewing Machine (including any tools that come with your machine)
Sewing Machine Manual (if you do not have a printed-out copy, please be prepared to bring a downloaded version)

For Part 1: Any scrap fabric will do for stitching out our samples
For Part 2: two different types of Fat Quarters Fabric
